The house “I Comignoli,” originally thought to be an old olive mill called “di Pascuccio” from the 1600s, has been restored while preserving as much of the original materials as possible. The house “I Lecci,” originally believed to date between the 1400s and 1600s and to have served as the cellar and storage of “Palazzo Neri” (so named in the first Pontifical Land Registry of 1726), has been restored several times following the same principles.
Located in the heart of Umbria, the “green heart of Italy,” just 8 km from Perugia, the agriturismo Fattoria dei Comignoli sits along the “Vini del Cantico” wine route, on the ridge of the Collina dei 7 Santi (Seven Saints Hill: San Costanzo, San Vetturino, San Fortunato, San Martino, S. Enea, Sant’Elena, San Valentino). It offers a stunning view to the east over the Tiber Valley, stretching from Assisi to Todi, and to the west over the Strada delle Sette Valli (Road of the Seven Valleys), which gently descends from Perugia to Città della Pieve, the birthplace of Perugino.
