At the top of a hill spur, overlooking Perugia and Assisi, stands the isolated Villa “La Montagnola,” surrounded by the dark green of the Mediterranean scrub and silvery olive groves. Three farmhouses, located at different points on the hill, complete the agritourism.
During this long weekend, we will guide you to discover the Umbrian territory and its typical products!

THE FURIOUS TRAIL. Itinerary 1_Furious Low Route.
Distance: 17 km; Elevation gain: 100 m; Difficulty: medium/easy.
The “Furious Trail” is an enchanting route stretching between Todi and Monte Castello di Vibio, named after the tumultuous course of the Tiber River in this area. This 17 km route, also known as the “Furious Loop” due to its circular shape, starts and ends in the green area of Pian di San Martino, near Todi’s historic center.
The trail features easy dirt paths, passing ancient water mill ruins and industrial archaeological sites, such as the old Montemolino hydroelectric power plant. The trail offers a variety of artistic treasures, culinary delights, protected natural areas, and sports facilities.
In the afternoon, there will be a visit to Todi’s historic center, followed by a return to the estate and dinner.
CYCLING ALONG THE TIBER – THE ORNARI BEND.
A fun, family-friendly bike ride along the cycling path running alongside the Tiber River, part of a community interest site. The tour starts in Ponte San Giovanni.
The Tiber River has been a decisive element in the development of ancient Central Italian populations. This waterway facilitated the exchange of goods and cultures over centuries, hosting clashes and interactions among different civilizations.
In March 2004, the “Ecomuseum of the Tiber River” was established to develop socio-cultural, economic, and tourist projects. It focuses on recovering traditions, crafts, historical resources, industrial archaeology, living treasures, and the scenic heritage along the Tiber River.
The excursion ends with a visit to Perugia, where guests can indulge in sweet treats from a renowned pastry and chocolate shop.
TREASURE HUNT IN PERUGIA.
This activity combines the thrill of a modern treasure hunt with riddles, puzzles, and skill-based games. Participants are grouped into teams and navigate the city equipped with materials, solving historical and orientation challenges. The treasure hunt is managed by an operator, and Perugia’s medieval setting makes it even more captivating.
The narrative revolves around the Templar Order. Players help Knight Michele recover an important document, the “Chinon Parchment,” to exonerate the Templars from false accusations.
The hunt explores Perugia’s historic center, Rocca Paolina, and Piazza IV Novembre. It concludes with a visit to a pastry and chocolate shop for a sweet treat—chocolate, the most universally shared indulgence!
