La Cerqua welcomes its guests in ancient stone, wood, and brick buildings (powered exclusively by clean energy), which silently tell the story of this land, shaped from sandstone and covered with clay soils and oak forests. The small organic restaurant and bio-cafeteria exude the characteristic smells and aromas of the place, cooked according to the simple recipes of the local farming tradition.
In the two upper floors of the former San Salvatore monastery, built in the 14th century and later transformed into a rural building, an ancient atmosphere can still be felt: the 6 charming rooms and 2 suites, each named after a local tree, feature beams on the ceilings, terracotta floors, niches, and fireplaces (and are all equipped with private bathrooms, heating, TV, and internet access). On the ground floor, the living area carefully preserves a harmony of fragrant aromas (dining room and bio-bar with veranda), naturalistic images (reading and TV rooms with library), and classical melodies (music room), for a completely relaxing holiday.
